"My flight was cancelled"
My flight was cancelled, the next flight was 4hrs later. We took off and they couldn’t keep the cabin temp suitable so the cabin was like being in a sauna.
Then I get to Aberdeen and you’ve lost my bag.
The worst aviation experience of my life and I’m a well travelled person. I wish I drove from Manchester to Aberdeen - would have got there sooner. Who is in charg there? It’s so unbelievably bad

"On flight from Aberdeen to Manchester"
On flight from Aberdeen to Manchester - aircraft technical issues 3.25 hour delay. Poor communication and over 2 hour wait at the gate.

Absolutely shocking.

"4 stars for the support team"
Mt flight from Stansted to City of Derry was booked in November for a June departure. Last month I received an Email stating that the departure airport would now be Heathrow T2 ! That's isn't somewhere I'd want to fly from (too far away from me). I eventually got through to the support desk, expecting that I'd be messed about and refused a refund. However, the staff couldn't be more helpful. I explained I couldn't get to Heathrow T2 and they refunded my ticket and all costs in full (had to wait 7 days as is standard).
So my 4 stars is for the service from the support desk. As Logan Air no longer operate from Stansted now, I'll probably never fly with them.

"Delays, awful customer service and excuses to not pay appropriate compensation"
Now enough time has past I can write a review here without the vitriol I felt after the experience with this awful, uncaring and poor excuse for a public service. I had to travel south from Orkney (Loganair are the only flight option from here) to try to see my late brother before he passed away. Delayed on the flight down to Manchester meaning I nearly missed my car rental (only the compassion of the manager at Avis ensured they waited for me), this meant I arrived at the hospital 3 hours later then planned but just in time to have some final words with my brother. He passed the following morning. I’d booked a return flight but had to rebook to stay for a few days to support the family (no refund or cares from Loganair for the cancelled flight - just a FULL cost rebooking). Travelling back not only delayed at Manchester, after being told by Loganair customer services handlers at Manchester to “f*** off” and hung up on me, missed the flight back home due to the delay and held at Aberdeen overnight, put up in hotel and flew back home the next morning (again another delay). Applied for compensation, hoping to at least get my money back for the unused flight in stead (after 10+ weeks) told I wasn’t entitled to anything as delays were due to weather (not true) and offered just over £200 and 4000 Mickey Mouse Clan points (not enough to get another flight and impossible to use). Customer service couldn’t care less. So now I chose to use other methods of travel and (unless absolutely unavoidable) I wouldn’t use this appalling airline, would strongly suggest that others look elsewhere (or use a ferry).

"Awful baggage policy"
Awful baggage policy. Book the flight on a mobile device and was not offered any choice of baggage allowance.
Was told on check-in that 15kg was maximum. Check-in staff could not deal with this, could not get through on the phone to Loganair, nor download the App.
Ended up having to throw away 5kg of personal belongings.
Frequent flyer Norway to Scotland, first time Loganair, but also the last time Loganair.
thank god for Norwegian.

"Would book with them again"
I experienced a cancelled flight. These things happen. The Airport check in Lady and her manager at Southampton Airport couldn't be more helpful and managed to book me on the next flight, a few hours later, so it wasn't too much of a hassle. I put in a compensation claim and I'm pleased to say that they acknowledged immediately and I was paid what was due a few days later. I would book with them again based on my experience at the airport and the subsequent proper treatment of my claim.

"Flight change Stansted to Heathrow"
In February I booked a flight for 24 May 2023 from London stansted to Derry return. Loganair have announced that they will cease flights from stansted and rebook my ticket from London Heathrow. This is not a suitable alternative for me, I am unable to cancel my flights online but even if I could I am, it seems, not entitled to a refund as Loganair have not “cancelled” the flight.

I have contacted Loganair to complain using “the form” on the site and got an email confirmation that they would deal with my complaint reference 143834, I have no idea when this will be done and heard nothing since their acknowledgement in 18 April!!!!

I have copied the email notification below that I received. Basically… don’t contact us and tough if this doesn’t work for you! Disgusting’

From 06May, Loganair's air service between City of Derry and London will now operate to and from London Heathrow Terminal 2 moving to the UK's largest hub airport to offer faster and cheaper access to and from central London and opening up a new range of onward flights for our customers than at London Stansted.

Your booking has automatically been amended to reflect the revised London airport, and also a small adjustment to departure times. All other aspects of your booking remain the same. The changes are set out below and can also be viewed via Loganair's Manage My Booking online tool.

There's no need to take any action. If you have any queries or questions though, please do contact our Customer Help Centre on 0344 800 2855.

It is likely that our Customer Help Centre will experience high call volumes over the next few days, we kindly ask that you please only call us if you really need to, we can also assist you via our online help team here

"Disdain for customers"
I booked two return trips to Scotland a few months ago, to Shetland and Orkney, both from London City airport, as it's very convenient from me, being 5 minutes away. I was extremely frustrated to therefore receive emails today telling me three of those flights will now go to/from Heathrow instead - 85 minutes away by public transport. I understand Loganair might want to move its London base - but it shows a complete disdain for customers to allow them to book flights from an airport Loganair surely knew would be changing at the time the booking was made, with no flag whatsoever. An airport the other side of London is NOT a minor change. In the short time I've used Loganair flights, I've had a couple of additional instances of flights being cancelled, and the alternatives being highly inconvenient (putting me out of pocket to rebook connections or book overnight hotel stays). Their monopoly position unfortunately seems to make them cavalier about foisting inconvenient changes on their customers. Their mantra about the complexity of flight programming doesn't wash - no other airline I've used cancels or amends flights so frequently or easily. Unfortunately a booking with Loganair is a lottery and you cannot trust they'll deliver the flight you pay for. A real shame, the Scottish Highlands are beautiful, and my experience on flights I have taken has been good. But the extreme flakiness of scheduling will make me think twice about using them again.

"I have been trying to contact customer…"
I have been trying to contact customer service since Sunday. Phone line has automated message that due to high call demands you can’t be put into a queue (same message for 3 days). The customer service email address returns a message that their server won’t accept the email as you are not in the company address book. How do o contact your customer services

"Trash"
Unfortunately I have to rely on this airline to go home and I have to say they are the worst airline in the entire world. They frequently cancel without notice and give no explanation. They are ridiculously expensive for subpar service and they are just all round a terrible experience

"Constantly changing flight dates."
I have previously had good experiences with Loganair but having booked flights for our summer holiday (arranged to fit in with family also travelling) they have now been cancelled and the day moved for the second time - now to two days before our original booking. We cannot spare the extra time off work or the expense. I now need to spend my time arranging an alternative route with a different carrier, changing accommodation (already changed to accommodate previous Loganair changes) and getting a refund from Loganair - for the second time. I would not book again. I understand that it is within the rules for them to do this but it makes for a very poor customer experience.

"Credit where it's due"
Credit where it's due! After a previous experience with delayed then cancelled flights, I have to report that after making a claim for compensation, it was granted for a larger amount than anticipated within the month. Thank you Loganair for acknowledging that money and time were lost and for compensating me accordingly. It is appreciated and restores my faith in your airline.

"After yet another delayed flight from…"
After yet another delayed flight from Manchester to Aberdeen on Thursday 6th April I received the perfunctory apology email from Loganair blaming circumstances outwith their control which is usually the excuse they use on almost all of their miserably poor customer apology emails.
They highlighted only 5 flights I had taken recently saying the delay times were between 6 mins and 1 1/2 hours but failed to highlight the other 20 flights I taken with them since October last year that were delayed by far more than 1 1/2 hours, instead of quoting stats that are only half true they should concentrate on sorting the problems and provide their customers with a better service.
As I am writing this I just found out that my 17:45 flight back to Manchester is currently delayed by an hour which I am sure will go longer as per usual.
As proud Scot I am ashamed to have Loganair classed as Scotland’s airline, they are a disgrace.

"Absolute jokers"
I booked flights as advertised by Loganair at specific times as I needed to catch onwards flights. They have now changed those flights which means I can no longer make my connections. No offer of refund. Just suck it up sunshine. If I operated my business this way then we would go bust. It’s total false advertising with a blend of arrogance. They are essentially making money by using the their terms and conditions to rip people off. They clearly don’t want repeat custom. Utter cowboys and I would avoid at all costs.
